Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month - Jenny Carrol

Jenny commenced in 2000 as one of our first employees on the Central Coast, and she’s loved working from Umina Beach as a Personal Carer ever since. Her philosophy on her work is simple “I just love being in the community and caring for our elderly. I love a good challenge; it keeps you interested in life. Treat them like they are your own parents.” PACS is so fortunate to have such an amazing carer on our team.

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month – Grant Addison

Grant has been working for PACS since 2002 providing Home & Garden services to our Veterans on the Central Coast. Grant is an asset to PACS and over the past 19 years our clients have always provided nothing but positive feedback on what an amazing, efficient & thorough job Grant does. We would like to thank Grant for his hard work & dedication.

Congratulations to our July Employee of the month Caitlan!
Cailtan commenced her employment with PACS at Warialda in 2018 and is a valuable member of our Darling Downs Team. Caitlan does a wonderful job caring for our clients. She goes above and beyond and we would like to say thank you for all your hard work!

Do you know someone who struggles to do the QR Code check-in with a smartphone?
As of today, Service NSW is offering a personalised “check-in card” to anyone who needs one.
The card operates in the same way as a Dine & Discover NSW voucher, but is used to check-in when entering a shop or business.
You can register for a “check-in card” for yourself or for an elderly relative by calling 13 77 88 or going to the Service NSW website.

Using your phone or tablet to listen to your favourite radio programs and more! With a free app such as ABC Listen, you can listen to all your favourite radio programs, either live to air, or later when it suits you via a Podcast.

The 1 in 20 kids facing a birth defect or genetic disease are used to hearing words like “incurable” or “lifelong effects”. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Right now, foundation are working on cures for previously incurable genetic diseases.

Hi I’m Ashley!

I have worked in the Aged Care Sector for 10 years, which I fell in love with. I started my career in the kitchen, cleaning, and laundry services of a residential care facility, whilst completing my certificate 3 in Aged Care and Community Care. I have a passion for helping people when I can. In my personal time I love camping and boating and spending time with my family.

Since starting at PACS, everyone I have spoken to and met have been lovely and Im hoping that once COVID-19 restrictions ease, I am able to get out and meet some of the lovely clients and staff.

I am very excited to see what the future holds.

Today PACS attended the Tamworth Jobs Fair with other employers from the Aged Care, Disability Services, Early Childhood Education and Care, and Community Services sectors. This event was an opportunity for us to meet with prospective employees and provide advice about the skills needed in our organisation.

Kelly and Jarrad meet with many Job Seekers keen to discuss how a career in caring might be for them and how to make use of there existing skills and certifications.

The Australian Government is making it possible for older Australians and in-home and community aged care workers to get vaccinated quickly and safely.

The vaccination of all older Australians and those who care for them is the most effective protection against COVID-19.

Receiving the vaccine is voluntary but PACS strongly encourages all clients and staff receive the vaccine to be better protected.

Louise has worked for PACS as the Central Coast RN since early 2020 and does a wonderful job caring for our clients. She goes above and beyond for all of our clients and we would like to say thank you for all your hard work!

Becky has worked for PACS for a little over a year, she works in the Warialda, Moree and Inverell area and has recently picked up a lot of shifts to help us out!

We would like to congratulate Michelle for employee of the month for January 2021.
Michelle has worked at PACS since 2010 and is so dedicated to her clients. She was recently able to celebrate a clients 100th birthday with them and celebrated with a lovely cupcake!
Thankyou again for all of your hard work and dedication to the company.

Sarah has been working for PACS since 2017 and has moved from part time reception to full time coordinating during her time here!
Sarah currently coordinates the Gunnedah, Moree and Barraba areas and prides herself on building and maintaining strong relationships with her clients and staff!
Sarah’s 2021 resolution is to buy her first home! We wish her all the best.

Tracy has been working as a personal care assistant in Tamworth since March 2019. As the Tamworth area grows, Tracy has been an amazing asset in ensuring all clients receive the best possible care available.
Our clients love Tracy’s caring personality and enjoy seeing her for their visits!
